According to the IBSA Judo Regulations (extract of point 6), from January 1^st 2022 the place of the marking is changed for J1 and deaf athletes. J1 competitors are required to wear a red mark which consists of a red circle placed on the official back number. In the case for deaf athletes is required to wear a yellow circle placed on the official back number as shown below:

The red circle is recommended to use after the first official international eye classification.
It is obligatory to use it from the start of the qualification series.

The yellow circle is recommended to use from January 1^st
It is obligatory to use it from the start of the qualification series.

JUDO-GI RULES – EXTENTION OF TOLERANCE PERIOD

The tolerance period is extended until January 1^st 2023 of the judo-gi regulation for the Paralympic circle 2022-2024.
